As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, we were honoured to host an inspiring alumni sharing session featuring two distinguished graduates, Edith Chong and Pony Choi, in dialogue with our current students.
The alumni recounted their transformative journeys at IVE (Kwun Tong) and revealed how their campus experiences became the foundation for their professional success.
The lively discussion provided attendees with invaluable career insights for our current students. We extend our deepest gratitude to our accomplished alumni for giving back to the IVE community since graduation.

The 3Cs Prize Presentation Ceremony 2025 was held on 22 May 2025, with around 260 participants, to recognise and celebrate students’ achievements in various 3Cs-related competitions and activities. The competition organised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers invited engineering students from higher education institutions in Hong Kong and the Mainland to form teams. Using self-designed and modified remote-control cars and robotic arms, teams competed in designated tasks on a field to win awards. The competition tests participants' engineering knowledge and skills, encouraging them to showcase their creativity and teamwork. After nearly four hours of competition, teams from IVE (Haking Wong) and IVE (Tsing Yi) emerged as the second runner-up of the Most Eco-Friendly Remote Control Car Design Award.
